DARK CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #7 is out this week!
The end of the event is HERE! Preview of the final issue and covers!
DARK CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #7 (OF 7)
The Great Darkness is defeated, but the final war has only just begun between the remaining heroes and Deathstroke's Dark Army! Who will be left standing? The Justice League and the Infinite Earths have returned, but at what cost? Do not miss the shocking conclusion that launches the DCU into 2023!
The last year has been a whirlwind. From announcing Death of the Justice League in January of 2022 to Dark Crisis #7 coming out today and the start of Dawn of DC. It’s been a very wild ride.
But really we started earlier than that. It began with INFINITE FRONTIER #0 in March of 2021 which carried to INFINITE FRONTIER #1 to #6 then Justice League Incarnate #1 to #6 alongside Shadow War and then to DARK CRISIS! An epic three part story that took nearly two years to tell. And now we’re at the end!
DARK CRISIS was a massive hit for the creative team and for DC Comics. Sold out multiple times with #3 actually outselling #2, which is a rare occurrence! And it’s success lead to another announcement I’ll make in early 2023!
Now for DC I’m working on SUPERMAN and GREEN ARROW, and a few other very cool dream projects to be announced next year. I’m really excited about the future of the DCU and the work I’m doing there. (I’m also working on some rad creator owned comic books.)
Once I get some distance from Dark Crisis this week I’ll write a more detailed post about the experience and my post-game thoughts. How this event changed my view on event comics and what it taught me with my own writing.
Oh and if you already read #7… yes, we will be exploring what the last epilogue means for the DCU in 2023. Look for the seeds of that in future DC series.
I want to thank Daniel for kicking so much ass on these 7 issues. He hustled and put in a lot of blood into this series. All 7 issues came out on time 7 months in a row! That alone is a huge accomplishment, but Daniel also made sure that every single issue looked EPIC.
Here is a preview of the final issue!
Here are some of the covers. The first by Daniel Sampere and Alejandro Sánchez!
The great Dan Mora did character shots of some of the returning DC heroes as a connecting variant covers.
But the cover that means the most to me is the GEORGE PEREZ TRIBUTE.

I said this before in a past post, but I’ll say it again…My hope is that when you pick up a copy of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 at your comic book store this week, you can see the love we put into the event. That it was a book about building and adding to the DC mythology. Embracing both the history and the new.
You don’t want to miss out on this final issue!
Thank you to everyone who ordered and read our event series! Your support means a lot to us!
My next post will be about the ROGUES hardcover that is also out this week.
Until then, as always…
