DARK RIDE #3 Final Order Cut-Off featuring SPAWN!
Dark Ride #3 Final Order Cut-Off is TODAY! Here are the covers and a short unlettered preview of the series!
HELLO AND GOOD MORNING (or afternoon).
I’ve been a fan of Spawn since a few issues after it started. I won’t lie and say I was there on day one. More like day 365. I bought the series on the regular until a bit after #100, but I kept up with a few arcs here and there whenever the book was hyped up, like with Spawn #300 and Spawn Universe. It’s been awesome to watch the franchise grow the last few years. I’ve bought LOTS of Spawn toys over the years, including the Kickstarter, and have kept up with the business of the character and his comics. Pumped about the new Batman/Spawn one-shot and collection coming out soon.
So when we were asked if we wanted to do a Spawn cover for Dark Ride #3 we jumped at the chance. And Andrei draws a kick-ass Spawn!
But the point in telling you all of this is that… DARK RIDE #3 has it’s Final Order Cut-Off TODAY!
Little fun secret story for you. A few days ago a MAJOR comic book writer texted me asking questions about Spawn as they had no idea who they were. They were aware of Spawn, but had never read any of the comics. So I spent part of my Friday telling them the whole backstory on Spawn and his origin. It was a nice fun break in a super stressful week.
Here is the MAIN Dark Ride #3 cover!
And then here are a sample tease of the rest of the covers. I love them all and I’ll post them in full when the actual issues comes out in December.
AND here is a sneak peak at the art that kicks off that issue!
If you want a copy of DARK RIDE #3, you need to pre-order with your comic book store TODAY. Those pre-orders really help with the life of a series.
Some left over bits from last week…
The Final Order Cut-Of for DARK CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #7 was yesterday. I want to thank everyone who supported and pre-ordered this series. I will write a longer post once the final issue comes out.
DC announced Dawn of DC this last week. Click here to find more information on that.
And yes, we’ll be talking about Superman and Green Arrow a lot in the coming months. But to be honest, I need to let me brain take a break post-Dark Crisis. I’ve already written a lot of both books, so we’re thankfully ahead and will have some very cool stuff to share soon.
