It’s been way too long since I got to talk about Green Arrow, a book you all know I have a huge amount of love for. Just as a catch-up, here’s a recap of the week of daily posts I made leading up to the first issue’s Final Order Cut-Off. It shows exactly why I chose to write this series and what Oliver and company mean to me:
Now then, let’s get onto issue #4! And as a note, we’ve got an update in this post for all you paid subscribers…
QUIVER HOUR
OLIVER QUEEN VS. PARALLAX! PARALLAX RETURNS! Years ago, Oliver Queen died and was resurrected by his good ol’ buddy Hal Jordan. But it wasn’t really Hal, it was Parallax. And did no one think that would come with a cost?! Now Parallax has returned to collect! Meanwhile, Arsenal and Black Canary’s search for Oliver Queen leads them to a long-lost Green Arrow family member…who isn’t so happy to be found!
Here’s a preview of what to expect in the issue, with beautiful art by Sean Izaakse & Romulo Fajardo Jr. and letters by Troy Peteri. A real treat for all you Hard-Travelling Heroes fans (myself included):
And it only gets better from there! For this issue’s variants, we’ve got Dinah in full shriek-mode from Kendrick “kunkka” Lim and a beautifully detailed 1:25 incentive cover from James Stokoe:
Now since we’ve got FOC for the next issue coming this Sunday, here’s the main cover for Green Arrow #5 from Star City legends Phil Hester and Ande Parks:
I’ll keep saying it—you Green Arrow fans are the BEST fans. Thank you again for expanding this book into a full 12-issue maxiseries!! If you keep pre-ordering, buying and reading maybe that number will continue to grow! Thank you!
